About Cindy Root, Associate Broker, SRES
I am a fourth generation Lebanon County resident, graduated from Cedar Crest High School and I also have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College. While working towards my Bachelors, I held several jobs in finance, from Customer Service Representative to Owner/Broker of Affinity Financial Company, a mortgage company. I also have owned and operated Homespun Peddlers, a boutique gift shop in Annville for several years.
In 2004, I decided it was time for a career change. I closed the mortgage company and sold the gift shop in exchange for an exciting career in real estate. After working as an agent for six years, it became my goal to attain my Real Estate Broker’s license. I enrolled in New England College to obtain a Masters Degree with a concentration in real estate. In the spring of 2012 I obtained a Master of Science with a Real Estate Concentration and a Real Estate Broker’s License.
On a personal note, I have two stepsons, 2 dogs and a cat who I consider all “my kids” and I enjoy my time spent with my husband and the “kids”. I am very proud of my childhood home, which my husband and I purchased from my parents. I am friends with all the neighbors and have an open and outgoing personality. As my husband says, “Cindy has never met a stranger.”
It is and always has been important to me for my clients to have a good experience in every interaction. I work hard for my customers and enjoy seeing smiles on their faces when they receive the keys to their new home or when they receive the check for selling their property. These traits make me proud to say many of my clients are now my lifelong friends.
It’s really about relationships – not just transactions.
